Bio

I’ve been a writer since the late 1990’s when someone asked me if nothing were impossible, what would I do? The spontaneous answer came, I’d write. I love expressing my opinions, and it’s in those moments when I feel the most alive.

My early years of writing were in child development magazines, but now my kids are grown I’ve expanded my interests into neuroscience and personal growth pieces. Learning and teaching are the heart of who I am.

I published CROSSING NEBRASKA, a historical romance, using my pen name Kay Bailey. Also, I’ve written for several magazines, including Animal Watch, Vibrant Life, Church Educator, and Kid’s Ministry Ideas. Currently, I’m editing a romance that I’m titling, “Wanna Be a Gangsta,” although the name is likely to change.

  2. Hi Janet! It’s me again. Although the post won’t be going up for another 15-20 minutes, I wanted to give you the heads up and let you know that I’ve nominated you for the WordPress Family Award. And yes, I still never miss your posts; although when I have my bad days, I have to go through them when I get my weekly digest. 🙂 Anyhow, once the post goes live, feel free to pick up your Award on my blog. http://wp.me/p38Uaw-fO .
